Günther Ernst
	CEO (Member of the Board) Günther Ernst completed his engineering degree at the University of Applied Science in Regensburg, Germany and began his professional career in the semiconductor industry as litho engineer at Hitachi. He has now more than 15 years experience in a variety of engineering and management positions. He is an effective leader with proven success in quality, cost-reduction, and lean management. His special process engineering expertise is in litho and CMP. He was driving continuous improvement programs for manufacturing methodology such as cycle time reduction (speed of the lots through the line) and introduction of one of the first automation systems for a 200mm fab. He is co-editor of several papers regarding advanced process control (APC). In 2008 he took over the responsibility of Vice President Operation at LFoundry, which includes production, engineering and facility. In 2011 he became member of the management board and holds the position of the Chief Operations Officer (COO). Since November 2012 he is appointed to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LFoundry.
